Solid wood (pine)

The prompt for this project was simply to make a box, using a single piece of wood and our newly-acquired skills with a few of the machines in the wood shop.

This piece is part of a series around the theme “symmetry is overrated”, and plays with the use of intentional and surprising asymmetry.
